In addition to my already published volumes of haiku, I am considering other poetry forms and am in the process of writing a fifth volume of verse in ‘regular’ (for want of a better word) involving stanzas, rhyme schemes and experimenting with acrostic chance or homophonic re-writing of other poems.
In the meantime, I am also starting a new series called ‘Posted Notes’, which consists of impromptu verses written (then re-drafted, of course) on various items of paper stationery according to the number of lines in the verse. The themes can vary, and may involve the frustrations or anger-inducing things about everyday life, or even some-one saying something idiotic, or anything that one sees in the news that day, or a sudden thought about life and the world about us in general.
Thanks to all my followers and ‘likes’ of my Reflections posts. More will follow.
